Was the Jane’s reunion disappointing? I haven’t kept up with what the conclusion was on that one. Considering how many drugs Perry must have done in his lifetime it’s probably a small miracle they were able to tour at all though…
I think Soundgarden will fare just fine. Cornell hasn’t lost his voice and the other dudes sounded good together in those videos from the set with Tad a few months back. They still get a ton of radio play too, and with Alice in Chains having a big success with their new album (which is really good, btw) it seems like the timing is smart.
It was a bit disappointing. Without the original base player (who Perry couldn’t forgive for banging his girl…for some reason) it just wasn’t the same sound. It was ok but just ok. All “Been Caught Stealing” and no “Three Days” or “Ted, Just Admit It”
